Set Details
The LEGO® Star Wars™ The Dark Falcon (75389) brings a fresh twist to the beloved Millennium Falcon, inspired by its dark counterpart from the LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy Disney+ special. This set offers an immersive experience with its meticulously detailed interior, featuring Darth Jar Jar’s throne, a command centre, a hyperdrive, an entertainment area, and even a jail cell. The Dark Falcon’s design includes practical features such as flip-up panels for easy access, spring-loaded shooters, rotating cannons, and a removable gunner post for dynamic play. Priced at £159.99 / $179.99, the set might be considered a splurge, particularly since it’s based on a limited series, but the inclusion of a highly anticipated Sith character in minifigure form adds considerable appeal. Despite the set’s reliance on numerous stickers (some of which could have benefited from printing) The Dark Falcon stands out with its unique colour scheme and exclusive minifigures, making it a noteworthy addition for LEGO Star Wars enthusiasts!

Investment Potential
LEGO Star Wars The Dark Falcon comes with just over 1500 pieces (price per brick of 11c / 10p) and 6 unique LEGO minifigures. Coming from a new sub-theme it will be interesting to see how this performs, albeit initial signs are that there has been huge demand for this set with very high sales volumes. A large part of this demand (and also the intrinsic value of the set) comes from the 6 unique minifigures which between them are worth more than 50% of the sets RRP with LEGO SW1363 Jedi Vader being the pick of them.
Whether the initial demand for this set will be sustained and whether it becomes a strong LEGO investment awaits to be seen but at first glance the signs are very promising.
