Theme Analysis

The Brickheadz™ theme is a very popular one with us here at Investabrick and the numbers really do speak for themselves with just over 100 retired sets returning historic annualised growth in excess of 20%.

A couple of our favourites are LEGO Brickheadz Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown (41632) from the Simpsons which had an RRP of £18 just over 5 years ago but are now worth over 3 times that amount at £60 and LEGO Brickheadz Marty McFly and Doc Brown (41611) which had an RRP of £18 just over 5 years ago but are now worth 3 times that amount at £55.

Comparable Set Analysis

The story doesn’t change at all when drilling down to the Star Wars sub-theme (not surprisingly!) where annualised growth of 23% has been achieved on the 14 retired sets.

These include LEGO Brickheadz Stormtrooper (41620) which has shown 250% growth (29% annualised) since retiring at the end of 2018 and LEGO Brickheadz Captain Plasma (41486) which has more than quadrupled in value since retiring in 2018 (27% annualised growth).

Conclusion

A really strong theme and sub theme, a couple of sets which have been LEGO.com exclusives and are now due to retire within the month. Snap them up before they are gone!
