Set Details

The LEGO Star Wars™ C-3PO™ (75398) set is a must-have for fans and collectors, offering an impressive and detailed model of the iconic droid. Standing at 38.5cm tall, this build captures C-3PO’s distinctive golden exterior with a great level of detail, setting a new record for the number of gold pieces in a LEGO Star Wars set! The posture of C-3PO, a subtle yet crucial aspect of the character, is carefully crafted to reflect his humanoid yet unmistakably droid-like stature. The set also includes a stand with an information plaque, space for the included C-3PO minifigure, and a special 25th-anniversary brick, making it a fun centrepiece for any Star Wars collection. Designed to pair perfectly with the 2024 R2-D2 set, we love that you can even reconfigure C-3PO’s arm to recreate his iconic gesture of patting R2-D2 on the head. Here at Investabrick, we think that this a great set, which captures C-3PO so well, the only niggle we have with regards to the build is his eyes which many think are too big and just not quite right, we are sure someone will come up with a clever parts usage to improve this!

We will definitely be buying one of these for our own collection to build, whether we see it as an investment later on will depend greatly on whether the strength of the LEGO Star Wars theme continues and how similar size models perform when they retire. We will be keeping a close eye on the likes of LEGO Star Wars Chewbacca (75371) and LEGO Star Wars Buildable R2-D2 (75379) perform when they retire.

For now, head to LEGO and snap up this iconic model of C3PO!
