21128 LEGO Minecraft The Village. After being fully released in 2011, Minecraft became one of the best-selling video games of all time, played by users across the globe on a range of different platforms. It did not take LEGO long to join forces with Minecraft® and the first set; 21102 LEGO Minecraft Micro World, was released in 2012 at the Ideas stage.
3 more models were then released before LEGO announced it would become a theme complete with Minifigures. The latest set 662105 Minecraft Miner and Creeper was released in 2022. Many Minecraft sets are now retired, with larger models harder to now acquire.
Set Details
One of the larger sets released was 21128 Minecraft The Village, consisting of 1600 pieces and aimed at builders aged 8+. 11 Minifigures are also included, Steve, Alex, zombie and a zombie villager, plus a Creeper™, Enderman, Pig, Baby Pig, Iron Golem and 2 Villagers.
Released in 2016, The Village consists of a range of different buildings, including Library, Guard Tower, Blacksmiths and Farm which can be built separately and joined. To give access to the interiors, some buildings fold out whilst others have a liftable roof. The end result resembles villages seen throughout the Minecraft game play.
The build is not complicated and will probably appeal to a younger audience or die hard Minecraft fans.

Conclusion
This set has already more than doubled in value in the 5 years since it was retired from retail sale, and there is no reason not to expect it to do close to the same again in the next 5 years, making it a decent set for investment. Going forward, we expect this sub-theme, and this set specifically, to continue with their strong price growth.
We are currently projecting an average annualised growth of 12% for the next 5 year, giving the set a projected value of £749 in 5 years time, £324 (76%) more than its current value.
