Investment Potential
A great looking set of the 1990s iconic game character Sonic the Hedgehog but does that translate into being a decent investment?

Theme Analysis
The Ideas theme is a strong one producing close to 20% annualised growth across a very diverse range of sets (albeit they are not always easily compared).
LEGO Ideas Old Fishing Store (21310) has nearly trebled in value since retiring at the end of 2018 (annualised growth 26%) and LEGO Ideas Maze (21305) has more than doubled since retiring in 2016 (13% annualised growth)

Conclusion
This really is a slam dunk set for us. An iconic character in the Ideas theme and Licensed sub-theme both of which have excellent historic performance. We would happily recommend buying LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog - Green Hill Zone at RRP, but we are currently purchasing it at just over half of its RRP. Buy, and buy now!
