Investment Potential

Theme Analysis
LEGO Technic is a solid theme returning average annualised growth of 6% across a large sample size with the Licensed sub-theme doing slightly better at 8%. It has become a LEGO theme we see as being very important to be selective with the sets you invest in.
Looking at some of the other motor vehicles in the theme we can see strong performance from the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure (42063) which has seen 160% growth in the 5 years since it retired (20% annualised growth) whereas LEGO Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (42093) has only seen annualised growth of 5% since retiring in 2021.

Conclusion
We think this is definitely a LEGO car to consider as a LEGO investment. From a consistent theme, with a strong brand name and strong comparators across all previous LEGO Porsche models and due to retire this year.
