As the holiday season approaches, the anticipation for Black Friday LEGO deals is reaching its peak, and we're gearing up for a brick-tastic shopping spree! The prospect of scoring fantastic LEGO discounts on coveted LEGO sets has us on the edge of our seats, eagerly wondering which masterpieces might finally find their way into our collection. From iconic LEGO Star Wars™ sets to intricate LEGO Architecture and LEGO Icons marvels, and Wizarding LEGO Harry Potter sets, we've had our eyes on some LEGO gems for quite some time. The suspense is real as we count down the days, speculating about the exciting possibilities that LEGO Black Friday might unveil.
It is definitely likely to be wishful thinking on our behalf but we’ve taken a look through the current sets available and chosen the top 5 sets we would like to see discounted on Black Friday this month.
Most of these sets are recently launched and/or LEGO.com exclusives that haven’t been discounted yet, and it may be a little while until they are, but we can but hope!
If you can’t wait for set specific discounts then watch out for the LEGO Insiders double (or more) points weekends, the next is likely to be coming up in the next few weeks to coincide with the Black Friday sales. Last year the LEGO.com offer was 5x VIP rewards points, let hope this years’ offering is the same!
Take a look through our top 5 sets and let us know which sets you would like to see discounted this Black Friday.
5. 10323 LEGO® Icons Pac-Man Arcade
This amazing LEGO set offers a fantastic experience as you recreate the iconic maze-chase cabinet arcade game, celebrated as one of the most influential video games of all time. Packed with authentic retro design elements, including a 4-way joystick and an illuminating coin slot, this LEGO replica captures the essence of the classic game. You can operate the mechanical features by turning the handle to simulate the iconic chase between characters, or open the back panel for a behind-the-scenes look. The set also includes a 1980s arcade scene to construct, featuring a gaming minifigure and a display case with rotatable PAC-MAN, BLINKY, and CLYDE figures.
This is a great looking set for LEGO Icons fans and retro gamers especially, LEGO 10323 was launched this summer and is available at the RRP of £229.99 at LEGO.com exclusively.
For now, whilst at full RRP, we think this is a set to build rather than to buy as an investment, and what a build it is. In future we think this will be a very strong investment but would look to purchase closer to its retirement in a few years, but double digit annualised growth is anticipated for when it does retire.
4. 71799 LEGO® NINJAGO® City Markets
The LEGO NINJAGO® City Markets (71799) building set offers an exclusive glimpse into the vibrant world where the ninja thrive. This expansive model, the largest in NINJAGO's history, showcases four floors teeming with shops, restaurants, offices, and apartments. The set also includes unique features such as a cable car, lift, boat, bridge, and even a flushable toilet for an immersive and dynamic building experience.
This is a stunning 6,000+ piece set that comes with 21 minifigures (19 of which are unique), LEGO 71799 is another recently launched set, albeit in a theme where a short-shelf life is common. A great build for NINJAGO fans we think this will be a cracking long term investment too. Currently available at LEGO.com for its £319.99 RRP.
3. 75367 LEGO® Star Wars™ Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser
The latest launch in the ever popular LEGO® Star Wars™ Ultimate Collector Series sub theme is LEGO 75367, this 5,000+ piece starship looks a must have set for Star Wars fans and collectors as well as most likely to make a great long term investment. At an impressive length of 109 cm (43 in.), this buildable model serves as a captivating centrepiece for any space. Complete with a built-in display stand featuring an information plaque, a special Clone Wars 20th-anniversary brick, and dedicated spaces for the two included LEGO Star Wars minifigures of Captain Rex and Admiral Yularen.
Again recently launched and not yet discounted, the set can be purchased at its RRP of £559.99 at LEGO.com.
2. 40560 LEGO® Brickheadz Professors of Hogwarts™
One set that is a little older that makes our list is LEGO 40560 from the Brickheadz theme and there’s a small chance we see some discounts before this set is retired at the end of the year.
The LEGO® BrickHeadz™ Professors of Hogwarts™ (40560) introduces four renowned teachers in an enjoyable and collectible BrickHeadz style. Ideal for both play and display, these figures boast authentic details, such as Professor Snape™ in a black cloak, Professor McGonagall™ in a green dress with a witch's hat and golden feathers, a peculiar eye for the Professor Moody minifigure, and Professor Trelawney with a vibrant headband.
Currently available at the RRP of £39.99, this is a cracking investment set from a theme that has annualised growth of more than 20% currently.
1. 10318 LEGO® Icons Concorde
Ok, we know this isn’t go to be discounted this year, but it is our wishlist and this is currently rightly at the top of it. LEGO 10318 is the Iconic replica model of Concorde and a hugely desirable model having just been launched.
Mirroring the Anglo-French passenger jet, this meticulously crafted replica model includes features like a tiltable droop nose, operational landing gear, a retractable tail bumper wheel, delta wings with movable elevons, and hinged upper and lower rudders. The model also incorporates an accessible seating area and includes a stand for displaying in flight, take-off, or landing modes.
Currently available at its £169.99 RRP at LEGO.com this is likely to be on a lot of LEGO Christmas wishlists and ours is no different!
