LEGO Batman Arkham Asylum (76300) Launches Today – A Must-Have for Fans & Collectors

LEGO has given Batman fans the set we’ve all been waiting for: the brand-new LEGO® DC Batman™ Arkham Asylum™ (76300) is officially available from today, 9th September, priced at £269.99 / $299.99. With a jaw-dropping 2,953 pieces and sixteen minifigures, this set is already shaping up to be one of the standout LEGO releases of 2025.

At Investabrick, we’ve been counting down to this launch, wondering whether LEGO would celebrate the occasion with a special Batman-themed GWP. While that hasn’t happened, LEGO has still delivered something brilliant: an exclusive freebie running right now that makes Arkham Asylum even harder to resist.

The Ultimate LEGO Arkham Asylum

Arkham Asylum is one of Gotham’s most iconic locations, and LEGO has done it justice in minifigure scale. This imposing, gothic-style build splits into three modular levels — ground floor, first floor, and roof — and opens up to reveal a fully detailed interior. Inside you’ll find:

  • Opening prison cells for Gotham’s most dangerous criminals.
  • A dedicated inmate delivery van.
  • An incredible 65 printed and stickered nods to Batman’s legendary history.

And then there are the minifigures — sixteen in total, a line-up any fan would be thrilled with. Alongside Batman, Batwoman, Batwing, and Robin, villains like Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, The Joker, Bane, The Penguin, Killer Croc, Scarecrow, and The Riddler all make an appearance, plus two security guards to keep them in check.

For builders, it’s a show-stopping display packed with DC lore. For collectors, the combination of size, detail, and character roster makes this a surefire future classic. And for investors, large-scale DC sets with this kind of minifigure count have historically seen impressive post-retirement gains.

No Batman GWP… But Something Even Better

We thought LEGO might sweeten today’s release with a Batman tie-in, but this doesn’t look to be the case. The set will qualify for the current great GWP though as from 8th to 17th September 2025, purchases over £115 / $130 qualify for the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog SEGA Genesis Controller (40769).

This 260-piece nostalgic freebie is a brick-built replica of the classic three-button controller, complete with a clever twist: flip it over and you’ll uncover a hidden microscale Green Hill Zone, featuring Sonic himself and a Crabmeat enemy. Regional stickers let you customise it to your version of the console, and the included display stand makes it a perfect collector’s item.

It’s a unique, retro-inspired GWP that fans and LEGO investors alike will love — and the best part is, you can grab it right now with your purchase of Arkham Asylum.

Why You Should Buy Arkham Asylum Today

The timing couldn’t be better. Arkham Asylum launches just ahead of Batman Day (21st September), giving fans even more reason to celebrate. With a set this detailed, packed with minifigures, and tied to such an iconic DC location, it’s one of those LEGO releases that ticks every box:

  • For builders: A rich, rewarding project with modular design and interior detail.
  • For collectors: Sixteen minifigures and endless lore-packed Easter eggs.
  • For investors: Strong growth potential, particularly with its scale and minifigure line-up.

Pair that with the limited-time Sonic GWP, and it’s hard to argue with the value.

At Investabrick, we’re calling this one early: LEGO Batman Arkham Asylum (76300) is a must-buy. Whether you’re in it for the build, the display, the minifigures, or the long-term investment, this set deserves a place in your collection — and now is the time to act.
