Theme Analysis
LEGO BrickHeadz is definitely one of our favourite LEGO investment themes at Investabrick, as can be seen by the number of sets we think that will do well post-retirement is double that of any other LEGO investment theme for 2025!
Since its inception in 2016 there have now been over 150 LEGO BrickHeadz sets released which have delivered an average annualised growth of 22%. At Investabrick, we see LEGO BrickHeadz as predominantly a short term LEGO investment theme, with an expected holding period of anything from a few weeks up to nearly a year.
If we look just at the sets that retired at the end of 2023, 2 sets are valued just below RRP, two at 30%ish growth and one at 60% growth. This shows very clearly that decent growth figures are possible but also that you need to pick which sets you invest in carefully. And bear in mind there are often opportunities to sell at even higher figures if you pick an opportune time!
Conclusion
Two more LEGO BrickHeadz sets which many will be looking to add to their collection, with the theme proving such a strong one for LEGO investors of late, especially on a short term basis, and ideal for those with more limited budgets and/or LEGO storage room!
