Hot on the heels of the recently launched LEGO Ideas set 21345 LEGO Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera (Read our article here), the LEGO community is abuzz with excitement as two more captivating creations are set to make their debut in less than a month. 21346 LEGO Ideas Your Family Tree and the much-anticipated 21347 LEGO Ideas Red London Telephone Box are both slated for release on February 1, 2024.

 

 

This third LEGO® Ideas set based on a LEGO® Ideas submission by John Cramp, a.k.a. Bricked1980 for 2024 is breaking new ground, not just for its charming design but also for its price tag, making it the first to surpass the $100 mark at a rumoured retail price of £99.99 ($114.99). Boasting an impressive 1,460 pieces, this brick-built rendition of the iconic Telephone Box, synonymous with the city of London, stands tall at 31 cm.

Within the extensive piece count, builders have the choice of constructing the phone as either a classic dial telephone or a nostalgic 90s-inspired version, adding a touch of personalization to this already iconic set.

 

 

As you start building the LEGO® Ideas Red London Telephone Box, expect to discover a cleverly integrated light brick on the roof. While the specific play feature or function remains shrouded in mystery, it undoubtedly adds an extra layer of charm and interactivity to this already captivating set.

Surrounding the telephone booth is a charming vignette of London's streetscape, featuring a small section of paved street, an elegant lamp adorned with hanging flowers, a dainty flower pot, and a fence complete with an iconic London street sign.
