LEGO NINJAGO 71837 City Workshops | New 3,244-Piece Modular Set Rumoured to be Launching Soon! Image

Initially speculated to be a brick-built rendition of The Crossroads, recent reports confirm that this year’s LEGO NINJAGO Exclusive is another exciting addition to the expanding LEGO NINJAGO modular city series. It is thought that the latest release, 71837 NINJAGO City Workshops, will consist of 3,244 pieces and will be priced at $249.99 / €249.99 / £219.99.

At this price point, 71837 ranks as the second most affordable set in the lineup, though it also has the fewest pieces. Uniquely, it’s the only 14+ rated set designed as an inward-facing modular build—unlike 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens, which was a corner-style structure. Staying true to the series’ format, the build sits on a standard 32x32 baseplate with Technic pin connectors, allowing seamless integration with previous LEGO NINJAGO city sets.

The set features two tall structures with a reddish-brown and dark orange exterior, transitioning into a more colourful and detailed interior. A water section forms the base, paired with a grey workshop stand built to house a yellow mech piloted by Twitchy, ready for action within NINJAGO City Workshops.

Beyond the workshop stand and water feature, the lower floors maintain a cohesive architectural style, while the upper levels and roof introduce a more vibrant, modern aesthetic, complete with dynamic play elements and unique printed pieces. The interior is filled with intricate details and hidden references to the Dragons Rising TV series.

At the very top, a yellow crane can be attached or removed to interact with the yellow and grey mech below. Completing this expansive build is an eleven-character minifigure lineup, including Zane, Pixal, Harumi, Dorama, Dr. Larow, Twitchy Tim, a model shop owner, a workshop mechanic, a restaurant worker, a Dragonian tourist, and even Dorama’s puppet.

With its impressive design, intricate details, and seamless integration into the expanding LEGO NINJAGO modular cityscape, 71837 NINJAGO City Workshops is set to be a must-have for fans and collectors alike. Packed with dynamic play features, unique minifigures, and references to the Dragons Rising TV series, this set offers both an engaging build experience and endless storytelling possibilities. Whether you’re looking to expand your LEGO® NINJAGO® city or simply add a standout piece to your collection, this latest addition promises to deliver creativity and excitement at every level.
