Rumored LEGO Star Trek 10356 USS Enterprise D Set to Include Exclusive Type-15 Shuttlepod GWP

The LEGO Group is rumored to be bringing a highly anticipated set to the shelves later in 2025, with the potential launch of the LEGO Star Trek USS Enterprise D (set number 10356). This monumental build, expected to be part of the 2025 Black Friday offerings, is said to include around 3,600 pieces, making it a significant addition to the LEGO Icons collection. The set is particularly exciting for Star Trek fans, as it’s believed to be the first-ever LEGO Star Trek set.
In line with LEGO's tradition of offering exclusive Gift-With-Purchase (GWP) promotions, the 10356 USS Enterprise D is expected to come with a limited-edition GWP set. Instagram user a.clay.brick has shared that the GWP for this set will be a 40768 Type-15 Shuttlepod, available for free with all purchases of the USS Enterprise D starting from November 28, 2025. Alongside the shuttlepod, an exclusive minifigure of Ensign Ro Laren will be included. Ro, a character from Star Trek: The Next Generation, made her first appearance in the Season 5 episode "Ensign Ro," and is a member of the Bajoran species. This character's humanoid design means that LEGO can likely represent her with existing minifigure elements, without the need for any unique molds.
The inclusion of Ensign Ro Laren as a GWP minifigure is an exciting prospect for LEGO Star Trek enthusiasts, especially since it follows the trend of previous exclusive minifigures in direct-to-consumer sets. Fans will recall the special Charles Xavier minifigure that accompanied the X-Men: The X-Mansion set, which used existing LEGO parts for a unique yet recognizable figure.
