21054 LEGO Architecture The White House. Get Presidential with The LEGO White House. Ah, the White House. The iconic residence of the President of the United States. Located in Washington D.C., it's not just a house, it's a symbol and a powerhouse. Did you know that it's the longest standing symbol of democracy in the world? Now that's a pretty impressive claim to fame. Construction of the iconic building began in 1792 and was completed in 1800. The White House consists of six floors and features 132 rooms, including the famous Oval Office where the big decisions are made. The building's neoclassical architecture and stunning exterior design make it a recognizable landmark across the world. However, the White House not only serves as a symbol of the U.S. presidency but also has played a significant role in American history, witnessing many important events and meetings. Today, it serves as a hub of political activity and diplomacy for the President and his administration, as well as an iconic tourist attraction.

Set Details

As one of the most iconic buildings in the world, it was only natural that it would feature as part of the LEGO Architecture Series, alongside other classics including the Taj Mahal and the Great Pyramid of Giza.

LEGO® Architecture Set 21054: The White House invites you to step into history with its intricate designs as this model is a stunning recreation of the iconic residence where every U.S. president has lived since 1800. The neoclassical columns of the Executive Residence and colonnades connecting the East and West Wings are captured in detail, along with surrounding Rose Garden and Jacqueline Kennedy Garden. Divided into three sections, this LEGO set boasts an inscribed brick that says 'The White House' to add the perfect finishing touch to your display piece. Measuring 11cm high, 47cm wide and 20cm deep, this LEGO® Architecture model is a great display piece along side the detailed booklet full of information about the building’s history.

Is this set going to win the votes of LEGO fans and investors? Read on to find out.

Investment Potential

Expected to retire at some stage this year, LEGO Architecture Landmark The White House is a stunning looking set. The 2nd White House LEGO set within the theme, LEGO 21006 was its predecessor from 2010, this current version is far more detailed in the build but is it a decent investment?

This set is currently available for its RRP of £89.99 from LEGO.com

Theme Analysis

The Architecture theme and more specifically the Landmark sub-theme look an excellent place to be selecting investments from. The overall theme has shown annualised growth of nearly 15% since launch and the sub-theme is even better delivering annualised growth of 17%.

We have taken a look at a selection of the sets including LEGO Architecture Big Ben (21013), LEGO Architecture Leaning Tower of Pisa (21015), LEGO Architecture Eiffel Tower (21019) and LEGO Architecture Great Wall of China (21041) all of which have delivered double digit annualised growth post-retirement (as have 23 of the 25 sets within the sub theme)!

Comparable Set Analysis

To try and drill down a little further we looked at sets based on United States landmarks to see if there was any deviation but again the sub-group of 9 sets again showed 17% annualised growth with 8 of the 9 sets showing double digit annualised growth.

Conclusion

One of the more clearcut investment decisions we’ve had to make for a while, with the set due to retire this year we think adding LEGO 21054 The White House to your collection is a must. You can buy it at Lego.com for £89.99 but make sure to do so before it’s gone!
