s™ in 1977 and has since featured in a host of Star Wars movies, playing a critical role in some of the greatest victories of the Rebel Alliance and the New Republic. Its striking basic shape is defined by two convex saucers welded together, a pair of front-facing mandibles and an outrigger-style, side-mounted cockpit with transparisteel viewports. Over time, successive owners either upgraded or downgraded every system according to their personal specifications, with the freighter ending up becoming a unique ship.
As the success and cult status of the movies has grown, so has the franchise, with every imaginable product being sold. It has appeared in the 2014 animated film The LEGO® Movie in LEGO form. So, it is no surprise that there are also various LEGO sets dedicated to Star Wars and specifically the greatest spaceship of all time.
Set Details
As one of the largest LEGO models of all time, set 75192, released in 2017, is a Star Wars and LEGO fans dream come true. (Although for many, owning the set will always be a dream due to its hefty price tag!) The 7541 piece LEGO version of Han Solo’s Corellian freighter is packed full of amazing details which would not look out of place on the actual movie set! Measuring 21cm high, 84cm long and 60cm wide this model really does stand out. Elaborate details include upper and lower quad laser cannons, landing legs, lowering boarding ramp and a 4-minifigure cockpit with detachable canopy. Hull plates can be removed to reveal the highly detailed main hold, rear compartment and gunnery station.
The model includes 4 classic crew minifigures: Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and C-3PO and also 3 Episode VII/VIII crew minifigures: Older Han Solo, Rey and Finn and also aBB-8 droid, 2 buildable Porgs and a buildable Mynock, enabling builders to play out different adventures.

Investment Potential
The Star Wars theme (nearly 50 sub-themes and approaching 900 sets) is definitely one we regularly go to for sets to recommend investing in, as is the Ultimate Collector series sub-theme.
This is the daddy of the UCS sets at over 7,500 pieces and with an accompanying price tag over £700 but will still have huge appeal to investors.
The set is currently available at LEGO for £735 or alternatively at John Lewis.

Theme Analysis
The Ultimate Collector Series is a hugely popular sub-theme within the general Star Wars theme and very popular with investors. We project growth to continue closely with historic growth and project what may be a conservative 7% annual growth based on historic price rises from retired sets.

Comparable Set Analysis
We have looked at retired sets that have a similar scale to this version of the Millennium Falcon. These sets have an even larger annual growth ranging between 10% and 30% which makes them very favourable as an investment.
One small negative for this set is the increase in RRP from £650 to £735 which will lead to slightly lower returns in the future and we would look to negate this by trying to purchase the set at below RRP (for reference it was available before Xmas 2022 at a 25% discount at John Lewis bring the price down to just over £550).

Conclusion
Looking at all of the general Star Wars theme, the Ultimate Collector Series sub-theme and the smaller subset of comparable models all lead us to recommending this as a strong investment. The only negatives we can potential find are the size of the set (albeit this hasn’t hindered previous large Star Wars UCS sets) and the increase in RRP.
As previously mentioned, we would be looking out for future discounts and with a target price of below £600 would be keen to add it as an investment then with an expectation that the price would be looking to be close to £1000 within 5 years.
