The LEGO® TIE Bomber & Asteroid Field 75008 set was released in January 2013 as part of the Star Wars theme and Planet Set subtheme. This set includes 60 pieces and 1 minifigure, the TIE Pilot, also known as the TIE Bomber Pilot. The TIE Bomber featured twin hulls, one for the pilot and one for the configurable weapon launchers, allowing you to take part in the destruction of the Rebel Alliance’s secret base at the Battle of Hoth in a scene from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. The set also includes a hangable Asteroid Field, TIE Bomber mini-model, and a display stand with a name plaque. The Asteroid Field has a diameter of over 3” (8cm) and the TIE Bomber measures over 1” (3cm) high, 1” (5cm) long, and 2” (7cm) wide. LEGO 75008 is a must-have for any serious Star Wars fan and LEGO enthusiast. This set allows you to recreate epic space battles and display the LEGO Star Wars galaxy from your ceiling with collectible planets.
