In June 2010, LEGO® Passenger Train 7938 was released as part of the City theme and Trains subtheme. This set includes 669 pieces and 6 minifigures, including two conductors, two women, and two men. The new high-speed passenger train is designed to transport passengers to their destinations at super-speed, with the ability to handle up to eight cars at a time through tight curves using the new 4-channel, 7-speed infrared remote control. The train features an engine with an opening cockpit and two passenger cars with removable roofs, providing space for up to 10 passengers. Additionally, the set includes a traffic light, train station, 16 curved track pieces, and 16 flexible track pieces that can be arranged to create curves or straightways. The train measures 27" (69cm) long and requires 9 AAA batteries to operate. It is important to note that the tracks included in this set are not compatible with LEGO 9V Trains, but the train itself is compatible with LEGO 9V tracks. LEGO 7938, also known as the new high-speed passenger train, is a must-have for any LEGO enthusiast.
