The LEGO® Burj Khalifa 21008 set, released in June 2011, falls under the Architecture theme and Landmark Series subtheme. This set allows adult LEGO enthusiasts to construct a detailed replica of the world's tallest man-made structure, the Burj Khalifa. Standing at 2,716.5 ft, this steel, glass, and reinforced concrete tower was built between 2004 and 2010, with the aim of helping Dubai transition from an oil-based economy to one focused on service and tourism. The assembled model measures over 10” (25cm) tall and 4” (10cm) wide, and comes with a printed name label on its base. Additionally, the set includes a booklet with facts about the building, its construction, and history, all in English. LEGO 21008 offers a unique opportunity for fans of architecture and LEGO to recreate the iconic Burj Khalifa in a detailed and accurate manner. The set, designed by architect Adam Reed Tucker, provides a challenging and rewarding building experience, while also serving as an educational tool with its included booklet detailing the design and history of the real-world structure.

Retirement of LEGO 21008 was in January 2013, after a shelf period of 30 months. Its new, sealed value is now $127, which is an increase of 407% from its initial RRP $25, or 16.3% per year. The set includes 208 pieces. Part of the larger Architecture theme, which includes 60 sets and 45 retired, it has seen an average annual growth of 113%. Within its Landmark Series sub-theme, comprising 34 sets with 27 retired, the growth rate averages 93% annually.
