This advanced building set features an authentic replica of the Mack Anthem truck and trailer, developed in partnership with Mack® Trucks Inc. The model includes realistic technical details and functions, such as front-axle steering, rear wheel drive, a 6 cylinder straight engine with working pistons and spinning radiator fan, and a detachable trailer with extendable outriggers, working landing legs, and synchronized crane arms with side loading capability. The set also offers a 2-in-1 building experience, allowing builders to create a detailed replica of the iconic Mack LR garbage truck. With over 2,590 pieces, the LEGO 42078 set provides an immersive and rewarding building experience for enthusiasts aged 11-16. The Mack Anthem truck and trailer, when fully assembled, measures over 10” (27cm) high, 32” (83cm) long, and 7” (18cm) wide, while the Mack LR garbage truck measures over 7” (19cm) high, 22” (58cm) long, and 6” (17cm) wide with forks and container lowered, and over 12” (33cm) high with forks and container raised.
