The LEGO® Airport Cargo Plane 60101 set was released in June 2016 as part of the City theme and Airport subtheme. With 157 pieces and 2 minifigures - a pilot and an airport worker - this set is perfect for aviation enthusiasts and LEGO® City fans alike. The cargo plane features a back hatch that opens, turning nosewheel, big engines, and an accessible cockpit, while the airport service car comes with space for packages and a detachable hand truck. The set also includes accessory elements such as a walkie-talkie and 4 packages, providing an age-appropriate building experience for ages 5 and over. Load up the Cargo Plane and get ready to fly with LEGO 60101! This set allows you to help the pilot and the airport worker get the packages ready for delivery. Use the hand truck to load the packages on the airport service car and drive them to the back of the plane for loading. Fit all the packages in and then make sure the back is closed before letting the pilot know he's good to go. Take off for some fun package delivery in LEGO® City! The Cargo Plane measures over 3” (10cm) high, 9” (24cm) long and 10” (27cm) wide, while the airport service car measures over 1” (4cm) high, 2” (6cm) long and 1” (3cm) wide.

The LEGO Set 60101 was retired in January 2017 after a 18-month shelf life. Now, its new, sealed version is priced at $72, a 190% increase over the original $25. This equates to an annual growth of 16.6%. The set consists of 157 pieces. It''s a part of the City theme, which includes 905 sets, 658 of which are retired, with an average annual growth of 40%. Within the Airport sub-theme, it is among 25 sets, with 18 retired, averaging 69% growth.
