LEGO® Ghost Train Express 70424, part of the Hidden Side theme, was released in August 2019. This set includes 698 pieces and 12 minifigures, such as Jack Davids, Parker L. Jackson, J.B. Watt, and more. The Ghost Train Express playset offers an immersive augmented-reality experience, combining a buildable LEGO model with an interactive app. By scanning the model with a phone and using the Hidden Side app, kids can bring the train to life and interact with it in a virtual environment. The set features ghost-catching details and play-starters, including a de-haunting cannon and ghost wings that fold out with the flip of a lever. The LEGO 70424 Ghost Train Express is set in the fictional town of Newbury, where players can embark on ghost-hunting adventures. The app allows users to solve mysteries, defeat ghosts, and overcome unique ghost bosses, such as The Bawa. The physical building set can be brought to life through the AR app, providing a whole new way to play and interact with LEGO bricks. The train and station measure over 5” (14cm) high, 5” (15cm) wide, and 24” (61cm) long when haunted, offering hours of imaginative play for kids.
