Set Details
The LEGO® Ideas Botanical Garden (21353) set brings a charming, Victorian-style glasshouse to life, featuring three atriums with removable roofs and walls for easy access to its intricate details. With over 3,792 pieces, the build includes a central atrium with a spiral staircase leading to an observation deck, as well as two side atriums—one featuring an arid garden and the other a cozy café. Outside, vibrant peonies and over 35 plant species are carefully crafted to enhance the scene. This display model for adults also includes 12 LEGO minifigures, including staff and visitors, along with animal figures and accessories like gardening tools and headphones for guided tours. Measuring 22 cm high, 51 cm wide, and 25 cm deep, we think this amazing set is a beautifully detailed addition for any LEGO fan with a love for nature and architecture.
Investment Potential

Theme Analysis
The LEGO Ideas theme is consistently one of the strongest themes there is with the retired sets producing average annualised growth of 16% and there have been a number of very strong LEGO investment sets released recently that are currently available. This looks like being another to add to those!
We have looked below at some of the retired LEGO within the wider LEGO Ideas theme including LEGO Voltron (21311) which has more than doubled from its $180 RRP to its $428 current value (annualised growth of 20%) whilst LEGO Doctor Who (21304) has more than trebled in value since retiring in 2016 with a $60 RRP (16% annualised growth) and LEGO Big Bang Theory (21302) has more than trebled in value since retiring in 2016 with a $60 RRP (17% annualised growth).
Comparable Sets
We looked at the retired LEGO sets in the LEGO Ideas theme that aren’t in either the Licensed or Space sub-themes and tried to look at those with the larger RRPs. The whole group has average annualised growth of 14%. These include LEGO Old Fishing Store (21310) which has trebled in value from its $150 RRP since retiring in 2018 (21% annualised growth) and LEGO Maze (21305) has seen nearly 150% total growth from a $70 RRP sine retiring in 2016 (12% annualised growth).
