Stop dreaming and start believing – the new LEGO theme, LEGO Dreamzzz is here! The LEGO Group has just announced LEGO Dreamzzz, a brand new LEGO theme designed to capture the creativity of children’s dreams. This innovative theme includes an epic new content series and product range that has been road-tested with thousands of children from all over the world.

According to recent global research study of over 23,000 children, seven out of 10 (69%) are facing complex emotions like stress and loneliness in their daily lives. One in four (24%) of these children attribute these emotions to events in the world or on social media. However, sleep experts have suggested that children’s dreams can help them to process these complex emotions and engage their imaginations. In fact, nearly 70% of children surveyed reported that dreams were important to their creativity and helped them to create better during the day.

LEGO® DREAMZzz™ taps into this vast creativity by offering children the chance to play with toys that put them in the imagination-powered driving seat. Similarly to LEGO NINJAGO, the new range will be accompanied by a new TV show that’s set to launch on May 15th, promising to create an unforgettable play and entertainment experience that’s engaging, fun and imaginative.

The theme is about the exciting adventures of a group of school friends – Mateo, Izzie, Cooper, Logan, and Zoey. After joining a secret agency, they learn to harness the power of imagination to journey into the Dream World and overcome the harsh Nightmare King!

The show will launch on May 15th, with 10 thrilling episodes. Accompanying the release, a range of new LEGO® products will also be unveiled. And, there are more episodes in the pipeline – with the next batch scheduled to be released in August 2023.

As well as the TV series and LEGO sets, LEGO® is set to launch a worldwide search for children to take part in its latest workshops, LEGO® DREAMZzz™. As a Chief Dream Creator, children aged between 6-12 years old will lead in championing their dreams’ creativity within the company and inspire young people from any part of the globe to dream big and unleash their creativity.

The children will be required to submit their own creative dream, a picture, or a design of their LEGO build which represents a creature or vehicle of their dreams. Accompanying the design should also be a short explanation of why it excites them and what they are calling their creation. LEGO will choose a few selected entries, and in June, they will provide an opportunity to be present in the world’s first LEGO® DREAMZzz™ workshop in Denmark.

Parents and children who want to take part in this worldwide opportunity may submit their entries between May 20th and June 20th. Check out LEGO.com/dreamzzz for more information.

“LEGO DREAMZzz is our very first concept that celebrates the wondrous world of dreaming and explores what happens when dreams become real, ordinary kids become extraordinary and creativity is a superpower!” said Cerim Manovi, Design Director for LEGO DREAMZzz. “We want children to feel empowered to bring their wildest dreams to life and revel in the true force of their creative imaginations while dreaming – and this is just the beginning!”
