LEGO® brick enthusiasts of the beloved franchise, Star Wars™ ‘The Clone Wars’ can step into the world of Mace Windu and his 187th Legion Clone Troopers with the Republic Fighter Tank (75342). Aimed at aged 7+, this is a small set with only 262 pieces, but it is full of features. Not only does it have hidden wheels for a realistic hover effect, but also comes equipped with two elevating spring-loaded shooters. What’s more is that there is a lookout for the clone commander on top! 6 Minifigures are included in the set, Mace Windu can wield his lightsaber and the 187th Legion Clone Commander arms himself with a blaster rifle, plus 2 187th Legion Clone Troopers and 2 Battle Droids, each with blasters.

Investment Potential
A smaller set at a lower price point than we normally focus on, but this is from a very strong theme and sub theme and well worth a second look for investment purposes. The price per brick is high and this is a little off-putting, but it is the only negative we can find.
Of the 6 minifigures, 3 are unique and between them are worth £20, or half of the sets RRP, with the 2 Clone Troopers both expected to increase in value strongly over time.

There are some very strong sets in The Clone Wars sub theme below with most showing close to o above 10% annualised growth. Within the sub theme are many, many sets that have more than trebled in price since retirement and the recently retired Mandalorian Starfighter (75316) has increased in price by nearly 40% in just a few months!

Another strong LEGO Star Wars set, another that we are confident recommending as a LEGO Star Wars investment. With a lower than usual price point this makes this available as an investment to most portfolio’s budgets, or you could buy a number of sets to increase your return in future years!
