Is this the next blockbuster LEGO Star Wars set? We think it well might be. A popular set with high demand, rarely discounted and the value strongly underpinned by 5 LEGO minifigures (especially the 3 uniques; Chancellor Palpatine, Clone Trooper Commander Fox and Padme Amidale) which alone account value at $70, half the sets RRP. Slated to retire at the end of this year this is definitely a set to take a closer look at.

LEGO Star Wars, in it’s 25th year, is approaching 1000 sets and on average delivering annualised growth of 12% across that large sample size. It really is that good! Some examples we have looked at include LEGO Star Wars X-wing Fighter (7191) which has seen more than $1,000 growth since retiring in 2002 with an RRP of just $150 and LEGO Tantative IV which has seen nearly 150% growth since retiring in 2011.

A great theme, an even better sub theme and an amazing looking LEGO Star Wars Gunship. Strong demand, rarely discounted and expected to retire this year. The value is strongly underpinned by the amazing LEGO minifigures too. We feel this is a must buy LEGO investment for 2024.
